After the boutique in Milan and Rome, Omega yesterday opened its doors to the
public in one of the most fascinating of the wonderful city of Venice : San
Marco 1291, Salisada San Moise . A few steps from the famous square is known
throughout the world for its unique beauty, the elegant new boutique will not
fail to attract the finest international customers.
The third brand boutique is located in a sixteenth-century building with an
area of ??62 square feet on one level overlooking the two large windows on
Salisada San Moise.
The interior of the boutique, modern and stylish, blends perfectly with the
historic facade of the building in which it operates. The choice of furniture
has been of the highest quality materials such as wood anigre exotic, finely
patterned glass surfaces and chiseled.
The Omega watches , like the interior design, inspired by the elements of air,
water, sun and time.
The articles will be exhibited in showcases exclusive wall whose
champagne-colored glass panels show the omicron – the logo of the House –
played with a fine engraving technique. A special play of light and shadows
gives a sense of motion to represent the passage of time. Finally, the other
neutral colors like beige present and champagne lend an atmosphere of classic
elegance and chic.
In addition to the full range of legendary timekeeper Omega , the exhibition
will be part of the collections and Fine Leather Fine Jewellery, items are only
available at the Maison boutique Swiss. There will also presentations dedicated
to exclusive launches and special editions.
The first Omega boutique opened in Zurich in 2000. Since then, the House has
opened ninety, in the most prestigious shopping streets in the world, along
with over one hundred and twenty franchise. The first in Italy has been to Via
Montenapoleone 25 , opened in November 2002 followed by that of Rome in Via dei
Condotti, 38-40, inaugurated in June 2010.
Founded in 1848, Omega has always stood for the spirit of innovation that has
allowed the Speedmaster to be the first and only watch worn on the moon.
Finally, the House is one among the main protagonists of the international
sports timing, since 1932, has served as Official Timekeeper for 24 Olympic
Games.
In 1999, OMEGA launched the first timepiece fitted with the revolutionary
Co-Axial escapement from George Daniels, recognized his invention because of
this, the largest watchmaker in the last century.
